About ADAR1 Capital

ADAR1 Capital is a ~$2B fund focused on public and private investments in biotechnology companies. We are launching a dedicated venture fund focused on clinical stage investments in private biotech companies.

Position Summary

ADAR1 Ventures is seeking an Associate / Principal to join its team. This is a partner-track role.

The primary responsibilities of the investor will be:

(  1)   Sourcing 

(  2)   Deal execution and diligence

(  3)   Portfolio management, including board representation

The ideal candidate is intensely curious, highly detail-oriented, and entrepreneurial. In addition, the candidate is outward facing: building relationships with biotech companies and scientists and proactively identifying compelling new ideas and companies.

Qualifications

Candidates should have a strong background in life sciences, medicine, biotechnology, chemistry, pharmacology, or a related field. MD, PhD, PharmD, Master’s, or relevant industry/investment experience preferred, but not required. Prior venture investing experience is preferred, but not required.

Location

Austin, TX (main office), SF, or NYC – remote also possible.
