Job Description


Position Description: Parkman Healthcare Partners is hiring a Research Analyst to focus on Biotechnology. The focus of the role will be performing due diligence on emerging and commercialized therapeutics under the guidance of our senior biotechnology Partner. The Research Analyst will have the opportunity to work in New York City with intermittent travel to our Stamford, CT HQ office required. Salary and benefits are competitive. 
 

Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and communicate clinical and preclinical data for molecules across selected indications

• Find, review, and present medical literature to the investment team

• Daily news aggregation

• Attend relevant corporate and medical meetings

• Travel to company headquarters and facilities

• Synthesize datasets and management conversations into reports

Qualifications:

• Scientific curiosity required (MD from a top-tier university preferred)

• Exceptional work ethic and strong interest in learning about novel therapeutics

• Highly proactive approach to answering complex questions and identifying science’s limitations

• Ability to quickly learn, adopt, and maintain new processes

• Well-organized and detail oriented

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Must value teamwork, excellence, and personal accountability
