What You’ll Do

• Research and create engaging 10-15-minute video presentations on individual Step 2 CK topics within your area of expertise (eg, OBGYN, pediatrics, internal medicine, family medicine, surgery, psychiatry, neurology, emergency medicine).
• Record narrated and annotated slide presentations using visuals such as images, diagrams, and any other learning tools you believe would enhance the student experience.

What We’re Looking For

• MD or DO who has passed Step 2 CK. Residents and fellows are welcome to apply!
• Availability of 10+ hours/ week
• Strong command of Step 2 CK subject matter
• Ability to explain concepts clearly and concisely to a medical student audience
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Flexible, growth-oriented mindset and openness to feedback

How to Apply

Please use loom.com and Google slides to create a 10-20 minute, screen-recorded lecture using a case-based approach. It is not required to comprehensively teach a topic, we are more interested in understanding your teaching style. You can pick a topic you are most interested in teaching. The video content covered should directly pertinent and high yield for USMLE Step 2 CK. The video will not be published and is for internal review only.

We would recommend the following:

• The video should begin with a case and end with a case
• Didactic teaching formats are included in the middle of the video
• Use of annotations and engaging teaching is encouraged
• Use of high quality medical images is encouraged
• Slide formatting should be similar to the example video, but it does not have to be exactly the same (we will provide you with a video template if hired)
