About you

• A medical student graduate with an MD or DO degree with an understanding of the material tested in medical school and on the USMLE Step 1 exam. You must have taken and passed the required USMLE and/or COMLEX examinations necessary to graduate.
• Wants to work with us nailing the little details to make a phenomenal board-style question bank.
• Available for a minimum of 25+ hours in a typical week.
• Well-rounded and knowledgeable about a wide array of pathology.

How to apply

2. Using track changes, improve this question such that it becomes more representative of what you’d expect on the Step 1 exam. We’re looking for you to elevate this question in your own vision, but it should remain within the scope of content that is testable on Step 1.
3. Once you’ve proposed the question edits, please improve and expand upon the explanation for the item that both explains why the correct answer is valid, and why the incorrect options are not. See the example attached at the bottom of this post to get a sense of what a fleshed out question and explanation look like once they’re complete. Your submission must follow the proper formatting, which can be found in the example linked below.
4. If you feel portions of the question need to be rewritten, please feel free to do so, but keep your work in track changes on Google Docs.
5. With your Google doc completed, please click "Apply Now" and include a link to your document 

Here is a great example of what a fully polished question with explanations looks like. You should use this as a reference point while constructing your application question. Pay close attention to the formatting and the breadth of the question and explanation(s).
