The Role: Investment Professional (Senior Analyst or Analyst)

We are seeking a driven Analyst to join our team in NYC. The role will involve collaborating closely with the portfolio manager and the broader team to support the long/short portfolio. The title will be determined based on experience and track record.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct fundamental due diligence on existing and potential investments across the healthcare universe
• Participate in investment and medical conferences, interacting with management teams, physicians, and research scientists
• Build and maintain financial models to inform investment decisions
• Analyze industry trends and capital market dynamics

Qualifications:

• Strong academic background in a relevant scientific discipline (MSc, PharmD, PhD, MD, or undergraduate hard science degree)
• Minimum of three years of relevant, healthcare-focused work experience, with previous buy-side experience preferred
• Proven written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with external and internal stakeholders
• Passion for healthcare investing

The total compensation includes base pay and bonuses, with the anticipated base salary range of $175,000 to $225,000.
