Key Responsibilities
We’re looking for a Sr. Portfolio Management Associate to support our healthcare hedge fund. The role provides operational, analytical, and general administrative support to equity portfolio managers. The person who will be successful in this role will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative, is a continuous learner, and is able to prioritize tasks for themselves and others.
What you’ll do:

Work closely with the portfolio management team to support the foundational aspects of portfolio construction and implementation, including:

Monitoring portfolio cash and holdings

Accurately entering equity trade orders into investment systems,
-
Providing daily, monthly, and quarterly portfolio reporting

Ensuring that portfolios align with client guidelines and applicable regulations.

Act as the primary point of contact between portfolio management teams and internal business partners (Compliance, Operations, Technology, etc.).

Troubleshoot issues, lead portfolio management teams through operational and technological changes and participate in platform implementation activity.

Respond to ad hoc requests from portfolio managers, including requests for portfolio analytics, transaction details and market commentary

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with multiple teams at multiple levels

Strong interest in financial markets and investing

Significant experience with MS Excel, an interest in programming languages and an ability to quickly learn specialized investment systems

Attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness
Preferred Qualifications

Science or healthcare related degree or training
Base Pay Salary
The estimated rate for this role is $75,200 - $90,000 per year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
