Investment Intern — Biopharma (Long/Short Equity)
Emerging Healthcare Hedge Fund  |  >$500M AUM  |  Event-Driven, Long/Short

The Opportunity
We are running a confidential search for a recent 2025 launch hedge fund (~$600M AUM) focused on biotechnology. The fund is seeking to add an Intern to support its healthcare investment team. The strategy runs both long and short, with a heavy emphasis on event-driven investing.

Responsibilities
Work with the firm’s Investment Team to source, research, and diligence long and short investments across the therapeutics universe.

Support fundamental diligence, including analysis of preclinical and clinical data, market opportunity, competitive dynamics, and valuation.

Qualifications
Technical / scientific background is required. 

An advanced degree (MD) is required. Candidates who are currently enrolled in an MD program must be expected to graduate in 2027.

Rigorous and detail-oriented; intellectually curious and open to feedback.

Please note that experience in biotechnology is a requirement.

Compensation & Logistics
This is a paid internship position with monthly compensation of $10,000. Actual work hours and total compensation may vary based on business needs, the intern’s availability, and applicable law.

In-person role based in New York City.
