The firm is seeking an Investment Banking Vice President to join its growing New York team. This role offers exposure to a wide range of public and private capital raises, strategic advisory engagements, and M&A transactions, primarily within life sciences and biotechnology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute fundamental company, industry, and financial analysis for live transactions and pitches
  • Prepare, review, and present client-facing materials, including pitch books, offering documents, and management presentations
  • Build, review, and oversee complex financial and valuation models
  • Apply scientific, clinical, and industry knowledge to assess client products, pipelines, and market positioning
  • Interact directly with company management, investors, legal counsel, and external advisors
  • Coordinate with Capital Markets on transaction structuring and execution
  • Support and originate new business; develop and maintain client relationships
  • Manage multiple workstreams, prioritize deadlines, and ensure high-quality execution
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative, high-performance culture

Qualifications

  • MD and/or PHD in related sector
  • Minimum 1+ year of industry and/or clinical experience
  • Prior investment banking experience preferred 
  • Highly organized with ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills
  • Strong writing, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Willingness to obtain and maintain Series 79, 7, and 63 licenses

Compensation

Base Salary Range: $150,000 – $275,000 (offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set)
