Job Description
TCGX is a leading therapeutics focused investment firm founded in 2021. Our mission is to identify and support innovative biotechnology companies that have the potential to revolutionize healthcare and improve patient outcomes. We have raised over $1.8B in capital since inception and are actively investing out of our second fund with $1B in committed capital. Our long-only investment strategy focuses on both public and private companies across all therapeutic areas.
We are looking to add a highly motivated Analyst/Associate to support our team’s diligence efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate potential public and private investment opportunities
- Perform pre-clinical, clinical, and commercial due diligence
- Analyze various sources of medical literature and benchmark key data
- Review market research to quantify commercial opportunities in a given therapeutic area
- Prepare and present findings to the team in a coherent and logical manner
- Interface with company executives and key opinion leaders
- Attend medical conferences to monitor new developments across various therapeutic areas
Qualifications
- Exceptional academic background with a life science focus
- 0-3 years of prior work experience in a relevant field (consulting / equity research / investment banking / etc)
- Demonstrated passion for biotechnology and a deep understanding of the scientific and business aspects of the industry
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
