A global healthcare investment firm focusing on investing in innovative high-quality companies is looking for an investment analyst. In this role, you will develop expertise in the healthcare sector by conducting fundamental company and financial analysis under the supervision of the CIO/portfolio manager. The position is located in NYC.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Conduct industry-level research (e.g., therapeutic area mapping, pipeline analysis, commercial and regulatory assessment)
• Lead company-level research in select biotech companies (e.g., desktop research, management interviews, medical and scientific conferences, and financial analysis)
• Build and maintain financial models
• Develop industry networks among KOLs, research scientists, investors, brokers, etc. to assist fundamental research
• Lead strategic initiatives with internal and external stakeholders

Competencies and Skills:

• 2+ years of the following experiences is highly preferred but not required
  • HF/PE/VC/sell side analyst covering healthcare sub-sectors
  • Top tier management consulting focusing on healthcare
  • Top tier investment banking focusing on healthcare
  • Strategy, BD or R&D roles at major pharmaceutical or biotech companies
• PhD in biomedical field or MD degree is preferred but not required
• Proficiency with AI tools and applications

Salary: $125K-$300K commensurate with experience.
