Job Title: Principal (Oncology Focus)

Job Description:

Principals will work on potential investments, acquisitions, analysis of potential exit opportunities, and the monitoring of current portfolio companies in the Life Sciences sector. Principals are involved in transaction due diligence, valuation analysis, and negotiation of contracts and other agreements. The relatively small size of this group offers Principals the opportunity to work closely with senior members of Blackstone and to have extensive interaction with management teams and external advisors. In addition, to work with and coach analysts, associates, senior associates and functional experts. Our investment process in Blackstone Life Sciences (“BXLS”) combines life sciences product assessment and forecasting with the strategic thinking and financial analysis of private equity investing. This role offers the opportunity to evaluate, analyze and engage in direct life sciences investment opportunities across the globe.

Expected annual base salary range:

$225,000 - 250,000

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
