Job Description:

The Firm is seeking to hire an entry-level biotech Investment Analyst or Analyst Intern. The Investment Analyst or Analyst Intern will join a highly collaborative team with an intellectually stimulating culture.  He or she will work directly with the founder and receive additional mentorship from other experienced team members. The Investment Analyst or Analyst Intern will be expected to contribute integral due diligence analysis and will be closely involved in the decision-making process. 

For the Analyst Intern, this is a part-time position - hours can be flexible and negotiated. Candidates can work remotely; ability to spend part of the week in New York is preferred. Upon demonstrating superior acumen, integrity and work ethic, he or she may eventually have the opportunity to join Superstring as a full-time employee with a H-1B visa sponsorship if needed.

For the Investment Analyst, this role will be based at our New York city office. We offer H-1B visa and green card sponsorships if needed, and compensation is highly competitive with the industry.

 

Qualifications:

  • For the Analyst Intern: Currently enrolled in a MD or PhD in life sciences with expected graduation date within 6-12 months
  • For the Investment Analyst: Advanced degree in life sciences is required; a PhD or MD is strongly preferred; 1-3 years of work experience in a business-related or R&D role within the healthcare industry is preferred
  • Evidence of exceptional academic accomplishment
  • High level of integrity and strong ethical principles
  • Strong intellectual curiosity and self-motivation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively on teams
