Frazier Life Sciences is seeking a highly motivated, scientifically curious, and entrepreneurial individual to join a rapidly growing biotech startup in our portfolio. This role is uniquely positioned for someone excited to gain broad exposure across scientific strategy, business development, operations, and early-stage company creation. The successful candidate will thrive in ambiguity, demonstrate high activation energy, and be ready to roll up their sleeves to tackle diverse challenges on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive articulation and refinement of company strategy and scientific plans.
- Develop and manage comprehensive cross-functional project plans and milestones through key value-inflection points.
- Coordinate, manage, and actively engage with external vendors and partners including CROs/CDMOs to ensure effective execution of outsourced activities.
- Facilitate cross-functional team meetings, including setting agendas, tracking action items, and ensuring accountability.
- Perform detailed scientific diligence on therapeutic areas, technologies, and potential business development opportunities.
- Conduct competitive intelligence and market analysis to inform strategic decisions and company positioning.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial management activities.
- Assist in preparation and review of presentations and communications for internal leadership and external investors/stakeholders.
- Contribute to the building and optimization of operational processes and systems as the organization scales.

Qualifications:
- Ph.D in life sciences, M.D., or related scientific discipline strongly preferred; advanced scientific training required.
- Minimum 2-5 years of professional experience in management consulting, investment banking, venture capital, or strategic roles within biotech/pharma.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives, ideally in a fast-paced or entrepreneurial environment.
- Demonstrated analytical skills, comfort with quantitative and qualitative analysis, competitive intelligence, and financial modeling.
- Track record of successfully managing external partners, consultants, or vendors.
- Prior exposure to early-stage biotech company formation, business development, or operations is highly desirable.
Location & Travel:
- West coast location preferred (Frazier offices in Seattle or Palo Alto), though remote candidates will be considered.
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 10-15% of the time as needed.
