Altitude Life Science Ventures is an early stage venture capital group focusing upon investments within the life science arena.  We characterize “life sciences” broadly, encompassing any commercial application of proprietary technology that originates from a key advance in biology or chemistry, with a particular emphasis on the biotechnology, medical device, and diagnostic sectors.  We are currently investing within Altitude Fund IV, and are seeking an analyst/senior analyst for a position located in the greater Seattle area.

Position as Analyst/Senior Analyst:

The responsibilities include evaluation of investments in the life science arena, including assessing the underlying science, business model, potential products, competitive landscape, and market opportunities.  The candidate will perform diligence on new potential investments and coordinate/manage financial transactions.  The candidate will assist the General Partner in managing all aspects of the deal flow pipeline, including pre-screening potential investment opportunities, and will assist in the management of the firm’s database of investment opportunities and portfolio companies, including preparation of internal memos and reports for LPs.  The candidate will also assist in monitoring and assisting existing portfolio companies.

We offer highly interesting, challenging, and satisfying work in a flexible environment, an attractive base salary and performance bonus.  Travel within the United States will be required.
