This role is based in Jeito’s New York office in Midtown Manhattan. Some domestic and international travel will be required.
Jeito Capital is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Biotechnology/Healthcare investment analyst. The individual in this role will work as a member of the investment team focused on a therapeutic area for current and potential biotech/healthcare opportunities in the private market. Reporting to a senior investment team member, the Analyst will be responsible for fundamental scientific/medical research on a wide range of therapeutic areas and assets along with financial analysis to provide actionable investment recommendations as well as support portfolio management and strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
· Analyze investment opportunities as part of investment team under the direction and governance of the Investment Committee
· Conduct due diligence prior to investments, overseeing, when necessary, the involvement of external advisors and auditors
· Prepare cap tables to support potential investment decisions
· Work alongside other investment team members to evaluate the scientific, financial and business aspects of deal flow
· Support as needed analytical work for portfolio companies under direction of Fund partners
· Support Jeito in network establishment with other investment funds relevant to Jeito’s core investment thesis.
Qualifications:
· Advanced degree in life sciences, chemistry, or medicine required (Ph.D. / M.D)
· Strong quantitative, verbal, writing, and editing skills
· Rigorous attention to detail, intellectually nimble, with a high EQ to navigate a competitive international environment.
· Ability to communicate effectively and work independently within a dynamic team environment.

In accordance with Section 8-107(32) as set forth in the New York City Human Rights Law, the minimum and maximum base annual salary for this role is as follows:
Base Salary: $100,000 – $125,000 annually
